Adoption Process
Submit Application
Complete an adoption application (linked below). This helps us learn more about your home and lifestyle so we can help make the best matches.
Application Approval
We will review your application and verify your information. If the pet you have selected may not be a good fit, we may suggest a different one. We also will be checking with your local Dog Control Officer and any Animal Abuse Registry to verify your information.
Meet & Greet
After your meet-and-greet, you’ll have at least one in-person meeting with the pet. For avian species, additional requirements may apply. You’ll be notified of approval or denial at this time and have a 24 hour minimum before signing the adoption contract.
Sign Adoption Contract
Once approved you will sign an adoption contract online that we send to you.
Pay Adoption Donation Fee
This can be done in person or we can send a link over to you. Any additional donations help immensely as we pour so much vet care into every pet.
You and your new family member will head home! Don’t worry, we’ll always be around for support and questions!
